  • "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley And The Comets reaches number one in August.
  • September 30th James Dean dies in a car crash.
  • October 28th, Bill Gates was born in Seattle Washington.  Seattle was always a popular place to shop, which I would do later in life, driving down from Vancouver.
